No one would dispute that healthy sex leads to a healthy life. And the men and women wanting to be healthy by this means tirelessly try the measures adding extra glow to their skin or a perfect shine to their hair, keeping purpose of fulfilling sex in their minds. It is beyond doubt that a healthy sex helps in providing solutions to solving many problems, including depression. The depression is the major pleasure-killer. There are numerous cases where the depression or anxiety had led to the loss of sex drive.

The couples that are practicing a fulfilled and happy sexual life would be doing exercises, too, while engaging themselves in the corporeal act: they would burn extra calories, and that would help keeping them fit. The sexologists and fitness experts are of the opinion that the healthy sex helps combating asthma, relieving headache, reducing depression, and tranquillising minds.

The experts in the field argue that 'sex' produces certain types of hormones that bring happiness. And these helping hormones help making bodies fit and mind healthy. They also claim that the pleasurable sexual intimacy promotes wellness, as the sex boosts certain chemicals in the body that protects us against diseases. Strangely enough the experts place their views that sex, including masturbation, might help easing joint and muscle pain, combating depression, promoting health of heart, and thus lengthening one's life span.
